PROFILE .06 ISO ROTARY INSTRUMENTS

Nickel Titanium rotary files allow endodontists to work carefully and efficiently in curved canals, allowing us to create a tapered preparation. A special safety-tip has been designed for minimal transition angle to prevent ledging and transporting. Radiallanded U-shaped flutes “lift” debris coronally, letting us create a crown down, continuously tapering preparation from orifice to apex; the best shape for obturation.

An improved handle design allows for better handling, identification, and performance during root canal treatment. These nickel-plated brass handles feature bands to denote taper. Each band indicates a factor of .02. color stoppers that correspond to the taper size. The large color band denotes the tip size and corresponds to the ISO color scheme, and the shorter 13mm handles allow for better posterior access.

APEX LOCATOR / ROOT ZX

Teeth come in all different sizes and lengths. Apex locators such as Root ZX are instruments that allow endodontists to measure root length with accurate precision. Because radiographs are 2 dimensional images of 3 dimensional objects, estimating working length from radiographs can be inaccurate. Using this device allows us to take fewer radiographs and thus less radiation for the patients!

HOT SHOT

If you’re not placing a post behind your SimpliFill Apical Plug, the Hot Shot is your ideal tool for backfill obturation. This cordless device allows fast and easy delivery of warm obturation material, and is available with both gutta-percha and Resilon pellets. Other features such as swivel needles and variable temperature settings allow Dr. Maz to control obturation flow characteristics during root canal treatment.

System B Heat Source provides unparallel convenience, reliability, and accuracy and is the finest gutta percha condensation system available on the market today. System B Heat Source allows us to detect the exact temperature setting and is maintained throughout the root canal procedure.
