With the latest in dental technology and anesthetics, including certified IV sedation, you no longer have to associate root canal procedures with pain and discomfort. At Maz Endodontics, you can discuss your comfort levels with Dr. Maz, who will find the right anesthetic treatment that works best for you. IV sedation is a form of anesthesia that relaxes you and leaves you with little to no memory of the procedure afterward. Even the most fearful patients have pleasant and comfortable dental treatments.
Why IV sedation is better:
At Maz Endodontics, we understand that dental fear can have a major impact on the health of your teeth. Dr. Maz offers a unique IV sedation experience, so we can treat even the most challenging and complicated dental problems due to fear or neglect.
Our team believes that people should retain their own healthy teeth for a lifetime and your dental health is our primary concern. To support that belief, the practice of Dr. Maz Ebrahimi is specialized in endodontic root canal procedures. Our team strives to make your time in our office as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Our office features cutting edge equipment that helps treat your dental needs as painless as possible. In addition, we educate our patients on preventative dental care treatment to help you maintain your teeth.
Not only has Maz Endodontics been designed to maximize your comfort, we have structured this office to reflect our commitment to environmentally sound business practices. Because we care about our environment, this office adheres to a paperless system, using a high quality endodontic software The Digital Office for Endodontists (TDO). Patients can complete their medical history on our secured website at the convenience of their home, spend limited time in our waiting room, and enjoy a painless and comfortable treatment in one of our state of the art operating rooms.
We proudly utilize Digital X-Ray Technology which not only delivers less than 10% radiation of conventional (film) X-rays, but also minimizes ecological footprint since there are no chemicals used for developing the films.
Designed for today's technologically advanced practice, ASI's high-quality, integrated dental delivery system helps dentists improve performance, efficiency, and comfort during root canal therapy. Superior quality dental equipments have been selected and integrated into our customized delivery system with operation from only one foot control.
Nickel Titanium rotary files allow endodontists to work carefully and efficiently in curved canals, allowing us to create a tapered preparation. A special safety-tip has been designed for minimal transition angle to prevent ledging and transporting. Radiallanded U-shaped flutes "lift" debris coronally, letting us create a crown down, continuously tapering preparation from orifice to apex; the best shape for obturation.
An improved handle design allows for better handling, identification, and performance during root canal treatment. These nickel-plated brass handles feature bands to denote taper. Each band indicates a factor of .02. color stoppers that correspond to the taper size. The large color band denotes the tip size and corresponds to the ISO color scheme, and the shorter 13mm handles allow for better posterior access.
Teeth come in all different sizes and lengths. Apex locators such as Root ZX are instruments that allow endodontists to measure root length with accurate precision. Because radiographs are 2 dimensional images of 3 dimensional objects, estimating working length from radiographs can be inaccurate. Using this device allows us to take fewer radiographs and thus less radiation for the patients!
If you're not placing a post behind your SimpliFill Apical Plug, the Hot Shot is your ideal tool for backfill obturation. This cordless device allows fast and easy delivery of warm obturation material, and is available with both gutta-percha and Resilon pellets. Other features such as swivel needles and variable temperature settings allow Dr. Maz to control obturation flow characteristics during root canal treatment.
SybronEndo is the industry leader in endodontic heat carriers. System B Heat Source provides unparallel convenience, reliability, and accuracy and is the finest gutta percha condensation system available on the market today. System B Heat Source allows us to detect the exact temperature setting and is maintained throughout the root canal procedure.
